Residential Care
The normal length of the residential stay at Capri is between 3 and 5 weeks.
Treatment activities include:
- Medical Assessment
- Medical Detoxification (if required)
- Individual treatment planning
- Psychiatrist consolations
- Psychologists consolations ( if required)
- Daily life planning
- Education
- Individual counselling
- Professionally lead peer support groups
- Sober fun activities
- Family education and counselling
- Contunuing Care Planning
- Continuing Care groups for 12 months
- 12-step mutual support groups
In some cases a longer residential phase is needed to ensure the recovering person has a safe place and the time they need to establish a strong recovery lifestyle. Extended Care is only available for consumers who have completed primary treatment. Normal Capri rules apply and eligibility is at the discretion of the Clinical Director based on participants’ ongoing suitability.
